Max Leiserson (Principal Investigator)

Max Leiserson is a computer scientist and computational biologist. His main research interests are in developing and applying algorithms and statistics to understand the genetics of cancer. He was a graduate student with Ben Raphael in Computer Science and Computational Biology at Brown University, and was a postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research, New England.

Max is a paid consultant for Microsoft (since December 2017) and Mosaic Building Group (since December 2018).

Max is on a one-year leave from U. Maryland to work full-time at Mosaic from June 1st, 2019.
